While North's victory against Wiseburn- Da Vinci wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Saxons narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Wolves 3-2. The Saxons haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

North was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (105-99), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 18-25, 16-25, 15-13.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Mabery, who had 13 assists and four digs.

North's win bumped their record up to 20-8-1. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-13 record.

Coming up, North will host Torrance at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they will square off against South at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
