Basketball Recap: Nease Sets Scoring Season-High Against Menendez + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nease). They took down the Menendez Falcons 59-42 on Thursday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Nease was led to victory by Audrey Rollins and Abigail Robinson. Rollins shot 42% from the field on her way to 16 points and four steals, while Robinson posted 14 points and seven boards. What's more, Robinson also posted a 57% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Sydney Minx was another key player, putting up seven points.

Nease now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Menendez, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Nease won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Augustine at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Menendez, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bartram Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
