Basketball Recap: Maple Shade Takes a Loss

Maple Shade lost against Delran back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Maple Shade Wildcats were outmatched by the Delran Bears and fell 59-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered against the Bears since February 13, 2020.

Maple Shade dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Delran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing STEMCivics the next time they take the court. Maple Shade will host STEMCivics at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, while Delran will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
