Basketball Game Preview: Curtis Baptist Crusaders vs. Community Christian Academy Ambassadors

Curtis Baptist has gone 9-1 against Community Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Curtis Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Treivan Wright, who went 8 for 9 on his way to 21 points. Wright's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Husband, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Community Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 58-57 to Orangeburg Christian Academy.

Curtis Baptist pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.1 points per game. As for Community Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went Curtis Baptist's way against Community Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January, as Curtis Baptist made off with a 65-45 win.
