Dakota got themselves on the board against Chippewa Valley on Friday, but Chippewa Valley never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Big Reds. The Cougars' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Dakota's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeramiah Aaron led the charge by rushing for 119 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 34 receiving yards. Those 119 rushing yards gave Aaron a new career-high. Dakota also got help from Elijah Goins, who showed off his sure hands for 85 receiving yards.

Dakota's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Chippewa Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
