It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pelion had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the High Point Academy Grizzlies get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Rilynn Earle was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Savanna Padgett, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Pelion was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as High Point Academy only posted a batting average of .118.

Pelion's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for High Point Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-11.

As of now, neither Pelion nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
