Barnstable never let their opponents score on Monday. They came out on top against the New Bedford Whalers by a score of 5-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

Barnstable's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-9-1. As for New Bedford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Barnstable will host Bridgewater-Raynham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Hawks are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for New Bedford, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Brockton on the 12th.
