Recap: Wadley Bulldogs vs. Donoho Falcons
The Wadley Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Donoho and snuck past 72-69. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Wadley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tedrick Burns led the charge by scoring 24 points. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Damarious Spraddling, who scored 16 points along with eight assists and four steals.
The victory got Wadley back to even at 3-3. As for Donoho, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Wadley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. As for Donoho, they will head out on the road to face off against Saks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Saks is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
