Reseda is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since September 25, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Genevieve, sneaking past 3-2.

Reseda was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-14, 23-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Van Nuys lost 3-0 to Kennedy on Monday. The Wolves have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-14.

Reseda is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Van Nuys, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
