Volleyball Recap: Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Takes a Loss

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln lost against De Pere back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Raiders fell 2-0 to the Redbirds. The Red Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Dani Rosenthal paced Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's offense, picking up six kills. Rosenthal got some help from Avery Dunn and her eight assists. Rosenthal was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Leading De Pere to victory were Mallory Derenne and Kayli Raygo. Derenne had eight digs and one assist, while Raygo had nine assists. That's the most assists Raygo has posted since back in October of 2024.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for De Pere, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Madison East on the 30th. As for De Pere, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Newman on the 26th.
