Softball Recap: Seymour Owls vs. Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles

It was a Battle of the Birds when Seymour took on Guerin Catholic on Saturday. The Owls won by a run and slipped past the Golden Eagles 9-8.

Taylor Stuckwisch made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Stuckwisch was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, EmmaKae Sweet was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney Warren, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
