Basketball Recap: Shoshoni Comes Up Short

If Shoshoni was riding high fresh off their 72-44 takedown of Wind River last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Shoshoni Wranglers lost to the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies on the road by a 50-31 margin on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wranglers in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now lost four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rocky Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cole Minchow, who posted 19 points. Mason Moss was another key player, putting up nine points.

Shoshoni's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Rocky Mountain, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Shoshoni does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rocky Mountain, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-38 defeat against Hot Springs County on the 1st.
