Volleyball Recap: Southwest Dragons vs. MacArthur Brahmas

Southwest lost against MacArthur back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dragons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brahmas.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 21-25, 25-18.

MacArthur's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella McCoy led the charge by getting ten digs, five kills, five aces, and one block. Those five aces gave McCoy a new career-high. Emily Morrison was another key player, getting 16 digs and eight kills.

Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 17-20. As for MacArthur, they pushed their record up to 24-12 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
