Eastern has gone 7-1 against North Adams recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will welcome the Green Devils at 5:00 p.m. Eastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Eastern is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Fairfield just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Allie Grooms spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Eastern saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddi Simpson, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run.

Meanwhile, North Adams came up short against McClain on Thursday and fell 7-4. The Green Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for North Adams, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Eastern has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like North Adams struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Eastern skirted past North Adams 1-0 in their previous meeting on Monday. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Green Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
