Softball Recap: Casa Roble Comes Up Short

Casa Roble came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Woodcreek Timberwolves, falling 12-2. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Timberwolves recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Casa Roble saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Richards, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Richards has brought in this season.

Casa Roble's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Woodcreek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coincidentally, Casa Roble and Woodcreek will both be playing Liberty Ranch the next time they take the field. The Timberwolves will host the Hawks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
