Columbus's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Harris County Tigers 6-4. The Blue Devils' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Columbus saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Randall, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Randall's brought in this season.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Harris County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus will welcome Carver at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
