Byers lost against Flatirons Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Bison.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-13.

Karley Linnebur paced Byers' offense, picking up seven kills. Linnebur got some help from Zoie Murphy and her 11 assists.

Byers' loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8. As for Flatirons Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Byers didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Yuma on the 11th. As for Flatirons Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Gilpin County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
