Recap: D.H. Conley Vikings vs. Washington Pam Pack
The D.H. Conley Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 31 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Washington 69-38 on the road. Given D.H. Conley's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while Washington is ranked 392nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Charlazha Wilson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Moira Skalak, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
D.H. Conley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Washington, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
D.H. Conley will head out on the road to face off against Martin County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Washington will be home for the holidays to greet Northside - Pinetown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
