Basketball Recap: Turner County Starts Season with Win on the Road + How To Watch

Turner County had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down the Miller County Pirates 57-39.

Miller County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trenity Johnson, who posted eight points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Hannah Cratic, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Miller County fell to 2-1.

Turner County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-29 defeat against Harris County on the 22nd. As for Miller County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-34 loss against Cairo on the 22nd.
