Softball Recap: Paul W. Bryant Starts Season with Loss at Home

Paul W. Bryant unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pickens County Tornadoes on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stampede of the 13-9 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Looking ahead, Paul W. Bryant will challenge Mae Jemison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pickens County, they will head out to take on South Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give Pickens County their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
