            Baseball Recap: Palm Beach Central Broncos vs. Santaluces Chiefs        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Palm Beach Central, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-1 margin over the Santaluces Chiefs on Friday. The Broncos' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.

 Camden McFadden made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Furthermore,  he didn't allow a single  walk, the first time  he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  RBI (two).
 In other pitching news,  Tyler Johnson looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He is becoming a predictor of Palm Beach Central's success: when he allows at  most one  hit the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
 Back at the plate,  Luis Sousa was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. That  RBI was  his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Jabari Seguignol, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Palm Beach Central was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in three consecutive  contests.
Palm Beach Central's record is now 4-2. As for Santaluces,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Beach Central will head out to  square off against Dr. Joaquin Garcia  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Santaluces, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Park Vista  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Park Vista will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Santaluces surely won't give up without a fight.
