            Football Recap: Magnolia Panthers vs. Camden Fairview Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            Magnolia made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Camden Fairview, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of  42-40 on Friday. The Panthers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
 Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   John Curry, who rushed for 114 yards and four  scores on only 12 carries. Curry got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 64 yards. Another player making a difference was  Jamaijha Marshall, who rushed for 118 yards and one  TD.
 It was another big night for  Demarion Robinson, who rushed for 149 yards and three  touchdowns on only 11 carries for Camden Fairview. Those  149  rushing yards gave  Robinson a new career-high. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget  Dayton Browning, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Camden Fairview, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 3-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Magnolia is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Hot Springs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Camden Fairview will  square off against  rival De Queen  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
