Softball Recap: Wagner Comes Up Short

Wagner fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Parkston on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 16-14. The Red Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Shealee Turner stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Libby Kotab, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Parkston, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

As of now, neither Wagner nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
