Baseball Recap: Poteet Comes Up Short

Poteet was the 10-9 winner over Great Hearts Northern Oaks when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Aggies fell 6-3 to the Griffins on Monday. The Aggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poteet's loss dropped their record down to 8-16-1. As for Great Hearts Northern Oaks, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Poteet is set to take on their familiar foe Randolph at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Great Hearts Northern Oaks will challenge rival Jourdanton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
