Volleyball Recap: Arizona Lutheran Academy Find Success

Arizona Lutheran Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Sunnyside Blue Devils by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Coyotes.

Ella Peltzer paced Arizona Lutheran Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Peltzer got some help from Elie Drexler and her 12 assists. Peltzer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Ohm, racking up three apiece.

Arizona Lutheran Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Sunnyside, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Arizona Lutheran Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Maricopa on the 19th. As for Sunnyside, they will venture away from home to take on Rio Rico at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
