Flag Football Game Preview: Daphne Trojans vs. Smiths Station Panthers

The Daphne Trojans will face off against the Smiths Station Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Daphne comes in on 13 and Smiths Station on seven.

Daphne is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 38-8 win over Mary G. Montgomery. Considering the Trojans have won ten games by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubrey Gregg had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 233 yards and five touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Johnson, who picked up 93 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Daphne didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Fredayshia Goodwin and Allie Gregg.

Meanwhile, Smiths Station put their dominant defense on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let Paul W. Bryant get on the board and left with a 38-0 victory. The Panthers are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the tenth contest they've won by 20+ points this season.

Daphne's record is now 13-0. As for Smiths Station, their record now sits at 11-3.
