Soccer Recap: Benton Takes a Loss

Benton was the 4-2 winner over Hot Springs when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Benton's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1-2 and their overall record down to 5-2-2. As for Hot Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Benton is set to take on their familiar foe Pine Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hot Springs will face off against rival El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
