Baseball Recap: Central Columbia Comes Up Short

Central Columbia managed to slip by Hughesville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bluejays lost 14-4 to the Spartans on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bluejays have suffered since April 19th.

Central Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Hughesville, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Columbia will welcome Wyalusing Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hughesville, they will challenge Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
