Basketball Recap: Nine Straight Home Wins for Iowa Colony

There's no place like home for Iowa Colony, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They slipped by the La Porte Bulldogs 53-52 on Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why La Porte lost, don't look at Trent Callies. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 14 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Miller, who posted ten points and seven boards.

Iowa Colony's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.1 points per game. As for La Porte, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 17-8.
