Basketball Recap: Rock Creek Takes a Loss

Rock Creek lost against Wamego back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rock Creek Mustangs took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wamego Red Raiders. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rock Creek's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Wamego, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Rock Creek will take on Abilene on Thursday. Rock Creek is facing Abilene at the right time seeing as Abilene is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Wamego does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
