Football Recap: Boyd Yellowjackets vs. Paradise Panthers
Boyd lost against Paradise back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellowjackets were dealt a 41-7 loss at the hands of the Panthers. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Aiden Young threw for 84 yards and one touchdown. Hunter Etter was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Maddox Parks rushed for 58 yards.
Paradise's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Brown, who rushed for 111 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards Brown has posted since back in October of 2024. Elijah Jennings did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 90 receiving yards.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Boyd will face off against Jim Ned on Thursday. The Yellowjackets' defense better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 35.6 points per game this season. As for Paradise, they will challenge Breckenridge on Thursday.
