Fremont had to settle for second on Thursday, but Jace Hadley sure wasn't going down easily. Hadley was unstoppable, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
