Negaunee put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Ishpeming Hematites with points to spare, taking the game 44-30. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-30 back in January.

Negaunee's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games. As for Ishpeming, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Negaunee will face off against Gwinn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Negaunee is facing Gwinn at the right time seeing as Gwinn is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ishpeming, they will take on Baraga at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Baraga will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Ishpeming surely won't give up without a fight.
