 Goliad can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Friday. They blew past the George West Longhorns 16-4. Winning may never get old, but Goliad sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
 For George West's part,  Kali Cortez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Goliad's victory was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-8. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.3 runs per game. As for George West, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 11 of their last 13 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goliad will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Aransas Pass at 6:00  p.m. Goliad is facing Aransas Pass at the right time seeing as Aransas Pass is stuck on  an  11-game losing streak. As for George West, they will head out on the road to  take on  Odem at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Odem hasn't scored more than one runs for three games straight, a trend the  squad is eager to reverse.
