Baseball Recap: Westside Christian's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Westside Christian hadn't done well against Catlin Gabel recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Westside Christian's pitchers stepped up to hand Catlin Gabel a 7-0 shutout. Considering Westside Christian has won three contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Westside Christian's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-1. As for Catlin Gabel, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
