Soccer Game Preview: Cinco Ranch vs. Seven Lakes

The Cinco Ranch Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Seven Lakes Spartans at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cinco Ranch's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Morton Ranch by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Cinco Ranch's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 286th, while Morton Ranch are ranked 609th).

Miguel Avila and David Zepeda scored both of Cinco Ranch's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Seven Lakes strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Morton Ranch. The result was nothing new for Seven Lakes, who have now won nine contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Cinco Ranch picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-5-2. As for Seven Lakes, their win bumped their record up to 12-0-1.
