While Hiland's victory against Mansfield Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Flames 7-6.

Hiland let Jalyn Immel and Tori Weaver run wild. Immel went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Weaver went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Immel has posted since back in March.

Hiland's record now sits at 5-13. As for Mansfield Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.

Coming up, Mansfield Christian will host Central Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hiland will be paying especially close attention to the Flames' game: after the Flames face off against the Comets, they'll take on Hiland again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
