Volleyball Recap: Springfield Catholic Comes Up Short

Springfield Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Springfield Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Central, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-13-3.

Springfield Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lutheran on the 11th. As for Central, they will host Waynesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
