Softball Recap: Muenster Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Muenster entered their tilt with Bowie on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bowie Jackrabbits by a score of 11-7. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jackrabbits, too.

Muenster got a massive performance out of Anna Kay Hennigan, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Ady Carney was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

The victory got Muenster back to even at 7-7-1. As for Bowie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Muenster will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Burkburnett at 12:00 p.m. As for Bowie, they will welcome Petrolia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowie has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
