After a string of three wins, Dekaney's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Spring Lions by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time Dekaney couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Dekaney's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Spring, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dekaney is set to face off against their familiar foe MacArthur at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Spring will take on rival Nimitz at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
