Greencastle-Antrim extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Kaitlyn Alvey. Everything went the Blue Devils' way against the James Buchanan Rockets on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Alvey, who had five digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

While Greencastle-Antrim won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 29-27.

Greencastle-Antrim's win bumped their record up to 14-1-3. As for James Buchanan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-1 record this season.

Greencastle-Antrim will face off against Bermudian Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for James Buchanan, they will square off against Shalom Christian Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
