Football Game Recap: Hoquiam vs. Castle Rock

Hoquiam had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Castle Rock on Friday as they made off with a 27-6 win.

Senior Payton Quintanilla, who passed for 291 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in the success. This was the first game for both teams, giving Hoquiam a 1-0 record and starting Castle Rock off at 0-1.

Next week, Hoquiam take on Aberdeen at Stewart Field at 7:00 PM. Castle Rock are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Mark Morris next week at Longview Memorial Stadium at 7:00 PM.
