Sequoyah came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Centennial Knights by a score of 2-0. The Chiefs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Sequoyah easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15.

Maria Fisher paced Sequoyah's offense, picking up 11 kills. Fisher got some help from Mackinley Parrott and her 22 assists. Fisher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Sequoyah's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequoyah will square off against Riverwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centennial, they will welcome Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
