Softball Recap: Prattville Takes a Loss

Prattville fell victim to Thompson and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Warriors. The Lions have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Prattville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Thompson, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prattville will take on Tuscaloosa County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Thompson, they will be taking part in a tournament against Auburn at 4:10 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 1.8, the Tigers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
