Baseball Recap: Cole Valley Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Fruitland

Cole Valley Christian faced Fruitland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Chargers fell 8-4 to the Grizzlies. The Chargers have struggled against the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Carson Kile made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Chris Bobrowski was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Cole Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Fruitland, they pushed their record up to 27-1 with the victory, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season.
