Choctawhatchee falls despite strong effort from Robert Spells

The Choctawhatchee Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Walker by a score of 55-52. While losing is never fun, Choctawhatchee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 254th in Florida, while Walker is ranked 75th in Louisiana).

Despite the loss, Choctawhatchee still got an impressive performance from Robert Spells, who scored 26 points. The contest was Spells' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Tristan Jackson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.

Choctawhatchee's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Walker, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.
