Fulton won the last time they faced Eugene and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hornets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Bre Knighten was her usual excellent self, getting 12 digs, two aces, and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Estella Vanschenkhof, who had 12 assists and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Fulton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are 6-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Fulton's record is now 11-12. As for Eugene, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Fulton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Licking on the 11th. As for Eugene, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Eldon on the 11th.
