Soccer Recap: Westampton Tech Comes Up Short

After flying high against Moorestown Friends on Wednesday, Westampton Tech came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Burlington Township Falcons by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Westampton Tech of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Westampton Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Burlington Township, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Westampton Tech has already played their next matchup, a 7-1 win against Pennsauken on the 8th. As for Burlington Township, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Cinnaminson on the 8th.
