Softball Recap: South Pemiscot Bulldogs vs. Senath-Hornersville Lions
South Pemiscot entered their tilt with Senath-Hornersville on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 16-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-2 back in April.

Phoenix Simmons was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last three matches.
