Basketball Recap: Toledo Takes a Loss

Toledo lost against Napavine back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Toledo Indians took a blow against the Napavine Tigers, falling 62-33. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Tigers are ranked 44th).

Toledo has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Napavine, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Toledo has already played their next game (against Toutle Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Napavine Tigers duke it out with the Winlock Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Napavine is facing Winlock at the right time seeing as Winlock is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
